mvusse
Well, my new front arrived earlier this week. I got it installed this morning, but since it was 5 degrees outside when I got up I decided to drive it to work so I could do it in a heated shop. Here's the pictures: Before I got started. All the lights are held on with zip ties: Everything removed: The new front (of 89 XJ): Making sure the lights and wiring are okay. Turned out both side marker bulbs needed replaced: I know I've seen the top bracket I need somewhere in this mess: It's on: All done: Now I just need a fender and bumper: The new front is not as nice as the old one used to be (no chrome) and doesn't have the wiring fro the fog lights. I did keep the old harness in case I ever get new ones. I also noticed the side markers work as turn signals as well. They blink opposite the main ones. On the old one they didn't blink at all. All in all about 90 minutes work, 30 if which was trying to get that mangled bumper off.
mfpdm
Looks good. Just keep getting white replacement parts and you can have a new paint job. :D J/K Need to get you a bumper on there to protect that new front.
