Bansheemanche Posted February 10, 2008 Share Posted February 10, 2008 Ok I am running out of ideas with my manche. I cleaned out the valve cover and cleaned out the baffles. I have replaced all the CCV tubing and no change in the oil in the airbox. The compression is great and doesn't burn a drop of oil just leaks it out. Is there anything else I should be looking for? I mean are those baffles when I took them out of the valve cover they were both up maybe a quarter of and inch. Maybe not that much but I mean are they suppose to be up like that or are they suppose to sit totally closed. The valvecover was taken off sometime before I owned this truck. 500 MJ Posted February 10, 2008 Share Posted February 10, 2008 I had blowby really bad and a simple cleaning of the tube from the valve cover to the airbox to get the gunky oil solved about 95% of the problem. I took it off the engine and ran wire coat hanger down it a few times and pushed a whole bunch of sludge out of it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
