LJRockstar
I would like to out together an on board air setup in my MJ, But I want it to be engine driven. Is anybody running a homade OBA that is really working out well for them? I have been concidering getting a set of TJ brackets for the front of the engine to move things in such a way that I can fit a york compressor in there but I don't think that will fit under the hood. SHOW ME YOUR PICS!!!
moparmatt
Oh you will love it. I did it in a 95 XJ. Actually it is pretty easy. For a while I did not use a tank, but I did install a tank because I wanted to use air tools. As a matter of fact the a/c is very powerful. More powerful than my POS in my garage. Try to say away from rubber/plastic hose as much as possible, I had to re-do my plumbing because the hose kept bursting when it got hot. Copper is the way to go. I justed looked at my photobucket account and my pics of my set-up are gone I will try to re-host and post them for you. About total I spent about $100/120 doing the whole thing.
