flatbed89sportruck
Hello there, I'm new to the Jeep world. I recently bought an 89 Comanche to use as a hunting rig. It runs well but under heavy throttle it shudders. The previous owner had almost all of the fuel components replaced and the fuel pressure is good. The next thing started to check was the TPS. Initially when checking it the only voltage I was getting was the 5v wire. The signal wire has 0v. I went back to check the signal wire at the ecu and it sweeps like it should fro. .8 to 4.5v. Normally I would think the signal wire was broken somewhere and I'd just run a new wire but what has me confused is the wire from the TPS connector back to the ECU has continuity. Any help would be appreciated.
Pete M
are you saying that the signal wire at the sensor shows 0 volts but the same wire at the connector shows the normal volts?
