RCdumbass
Battery shorted against the hood and killed the engine to chassis ground. Mis- diagnosed as an ECU, replaced the ground, and now it runs. All gauges work but dash lights are inop. No turn signals, headlights, or even the shift light. I’m trying to make it road legal but before I hardwire and switch the turns and headlights I figured I’d ask if any one had an idea as to why those are now inop. eaglescout526
Have you checked the fuses?
RCdumbass
Yessir. Fuses are good and circuit breakers have continuity. That’s what’s messing me up. Everything looks ok at least fusebox side. Good news my local junkyard 45min away has an 89 for parts
