Htchevyii Posted September 6, 2023 Share Posted September 6, 2023 With the help of information gained on CC, I managed a nearly bolt on conversion to the later model XJ DUAL DIAPHRAM brake booster and master cylinder on the 1989 XJ, (of course almost everything applies to an MJ as well except for the BENDIX 9 deletion). I used a brand new OMIX ADA booster and master ASSY and a Fine Lines front brake line kit for a 1996 XJ. This allowed everything to bolt into place with minimal modifications, (I did need to extend the rear brake tube about 4"). It was a little more complicated due to the XJ having cruise control and needing to keep the VAC dump valve. The part numbers are linked in the description.
