88chief
new member here aloha from oahu-- got an 88 comanche chief 150k mi. will turn over but has trouble at idle. Had always revved really high then i'd turn off and back to normal. discovered a fuel leak at an injector about the same time it began running really rough! replaced all o rings fuel pressure reg,and inline fuel filter. leak solved but still running bad. I then replaced cap rotor, plugs, egr, o2 sensor and still nothing! map sensor was within spec., also checked entry of cat converter didn't see any blockage someone out there know whats going on? no obvious vacum leaks, throtle pos sensor and mass air flow sensor seem fine please someone help!!
CWLONGSHOT
TPS Throttle Position Sensor This is where your idle is set and other than a vacuume leak the biggest contributor to a flux idle.. CW
FxRacing282
check EGR valve. goes into the intake. disassemble it and clean it out real good. by any chance did you check the oil, air filter and fuel filter/pressure?
