90worktruck
So I got into an accident with my 1990 MJ a few weeks ago, I’ve been able to repair most of the body, trim radiator etc, in the collision the rusty brake line broke( I was able to limp it home & I was going to try to repair it myself with a lot of research here I felt like I could handle it) then the lessons started. on the distribution block (next to Master) the line coming out the nose is there (corrugated line) but the oriface on the bottom closest to front is plugged, from what I’ve read here is I shouldn’t have any rear brakes! So I’m thinking a po teed them off the front?! the other question I have is on the drivers side rear axle there’s an “x” connector (I’ll add a photo) left side of x goes to drivers side rear, right side of x goes to rear passenger side oriface facing back is feed line from front of truck and here’s the kicker the oriface coming out the top has a piece of what looks to be a piece of 3/8” fuel line the other end is stuck in a opening in bottom of frame? took both ends down and blew through it, nothing was in it? don’t know how I could of had any brakes i have an appointment with a local shop to have someone fix it, (I broke both bleeders off front calipers) this Friday when I told him on phone what I learned here(xj or zj distribution block) or ting the fronts & adj porportioning valve on rears he said they normally return to factory condition, I said that would be fine if he could find a working LSV getting towed Friday this shop has great reviews, but I’ve never been there before sorry for the long post

AZJeff
That vent hose should be secured up onto the crossmember over the axle with a zip tie or the like. It's positioned that way to keep water from getting into the tube when going through puddles (small creeks?) and the like.
