2wd/4wd Swap

I'm kinda hoping someone in here can can clarify a few things. 

 

I have a super clean 88' 4.0 2wd 5peed that I'm going to swap to 4wd. 

 

I also have a 91' Aw4 with 231 Slip eliminator an full size built axles that's the "doner"

 

The question is as far as wiring goes if I use the 91 aw4 is it possible to put in the 88 an make it work without swaping harnesses? I'm aware the differences in bendix versus the mopar computer locations and the c101 connections between the 88-91.

 

I'm great with the mechanical parts an suspension setup. It's just the wiring side of stuff I'm not proficient in.

When I swapped in a 97 AW4 the harness was a bit different than that on my 89 AW4. I swapped the harness over, I think the solenoids were different too, can't remember. It wasn't that bad of a job honestly, just open up both trannies at the same time and take pics to remember how it goes. Other than changing the fluid and the lines I had no prior transmission experience.

harness connections should be the same for those years for the AW4
