A-man930 Posted October 13, 2021 Share Posted October 13, 2021 These are technically mismatched for the application but were in use in my truck for years. Factory gears in both are 3.54/3.55, gears in boxes are 4.10/4.11; I'll consider installing them for the right price. Front axle is a pre-1990 unit (different brakes, more desirable knuckles so I read?) and has the center axle disconnect. One-piece shafts can be retrofitted but honestly it never gave me any issues... Wheel bearings, u-joints, and ZJ steering parts are all in good shape as far as I remember, though the right axle seal does leak. Rear is a Chrysler corporate 8.25" out of a '95-ish XJ Cherokee; it has 29 spline SUPERIOR brand alloy shafts as well as the factory ones for spares. It also has an Aussie locker currently installed. MJ-width spring perches are welded on ready for spring-over OR spring-under, your choice! It can easily be converted back to XJ duty with new perches.
