Has anyone ever taken an XJ's gas tank and mounted it in the rear in place of the spare tire carrier? I'm not asking if it can be done, just if anybody ever has. I have considered maybe one day rigging one up, whether it will function like dual tanks on an old ford, or just a big integrated storage tank that you have to pump out into the regular tank.
