Smart Phone holder/mount

My take on a smart phone holder/mount. Bought a cheap clamp style phone holder from Wally World. I think it was $7, forgot to take a photo of the box. Box was light green though. Since I didn’t have the clock in my truck I took the block off plate and mounted the holder to it. The phone holder was designed to mount with a suction cup and has a bendable soft aluminum arm. So I drilled an approximate size hole in the block off plate and threaded the rod/arm. Put a nut and washer on both sides and tightened it down. This now gives me the ability to see the phone and use it for nav or anything else. It’s also close enough to the radio that a short usb/charging cord can be used to connect to the phone so I don’t have wires running everywhere.
