Ronsbear Posted October 10, 2020 Share Posted October 10, 2020 I ask a question last night about engine miss on a 4 cyl.2.5 motor. 3 cyls. has 150 & 1 cyl. 120. When i pull wire off that cylinder seems to be dead. Any ideas please, also E G R valve bad or maybe carb. When it warms up it does seem to smooth out a little. So if it smooths out when it’s warm but it’s rough when cool and doesn’t change with the wire off or on, I would definitely say it’s a safe bet that the intake or exhaust valves have gunk on them and are sticking open until warm.
