Pillar Lights Stuck On

So I replaced my missing pillar lights a few months ago and discovered that they always stayed on as if a door was ajar. So I figured the door switches were broken and left the black and white wire disconnected and just had manual pillar lights. I replaced the door switches today and they are still stuck on after reconnecting the black and white wire. 

Any advice on where to start looking for the loose ground?

Check your headlight/dimmer switch , if you turn the knob all the way to the left you will feel a slight click and it turns on the interior lights regardless if the doors are open or not. 
    Try turning the knob to the right a little and see if it turns the lights off.

Hey that was it, thank you so much! I would have never thought to look at that knob. Now I have fancy light that turn themselves off :).
