Wallace Krempa
To jump right on into it, I am getting a new job as a General Contractor in a few weeks, and my new employer does not provide tools for the job. Meaning i would need to haul my own stuff to and from the site every day. As of right now the tools themselves don't really matter to me, as i would like a definite means of transporting them in a protected environment. I was thinking that i would build the bed from scratch as i believe it would be easier than trying to find an old one then suiting it to my needs. I have looked into buying a new truck as a work truck, but 90% of them are out of my price range, and the others are junked. I have seen images across the internet of 'Manches with utility beds, and there was even one on here that was sold. Now the question, if anyone out there has any dimensions and or utility beds for a Comanche that they are not using and willing to sell, please get in contact with me. As of building one, i have a welder, and angle grinder, and know how to use both. Thanks for all the help. I found this picture online, and am looking to do somewhat of the same idea. 87Chief
Looks like with that picture, the utility bed came off of a truck that has a passenger fuel fill up.. Not sure that's what the hole is, but I'd look for something like that.
