FOR SALE 87 4x2 short bed - New Palestine, Indiana

Been 2014 since last time on the Club. Working toward retirement in 2016 caused me to stop posting w/o user and password written down, I forgot, so recently started again under new ones and Pete found my old one for me!  THANKS PETE!

Anyway in 2014 I was collecting the things I needed to have a 300hp chev 327 in her and would have made a "sleeper" type street rod "streetjeep". But, retirement came into view and along with eliminating all debt I had to abandon the project. Kept on using her the way she was as my almost daily driver.

Now, I must sell her. Just not practical in our situation, and I want/hope someone might keep her a 4x2 and keep her stock or make her into what I was trying to make her, even if with a 4.0.

So, she is an 87 4x2 2.5 4speed, no ac, no ps, and I have owned her for 15 years.

Bought her at 240,000 + miles. Almost 380,000 total miles now.

Right away stripped the seats and carpet out, found no rust on the floor boards (bought her in Puget Sound area), cleaned everything and put "pors" on floor boards.

When not being driven, she was almost always garaged.

Quick history looking back:

   8/22/2019 New EGR valve

   6/30/2019 Starter replaced with warranty info; 

   11/15/2018 alignment;

   11/2018 rear shoes and hold down kit and cylinders;

   11/5/2018 steering shaft to steering gear rebuilt by Indianapolis rack and axle;

   11/2018 new tires

   12/2017 Two new ujoints;

   11/2015 new windshield 

   4/2015 front rotors, pads, wheel bearings etc;

   3/2015 all tie rods etc and track bar (Rusty's) replaced with professional alignment;

   6/2013 Alternator

   08/2010 shocks

   04/2009 new radiator

   12/04/2006 (274514 miles) engine overhauled by S&S engine in Spokane Washington

Due to yearly surface rust forming while living for a while in Minnesota, in 2015 rocker panels and bottom of back fenders were cleaned, etched, coated with Chassis Saver, primed and painted. And, drivers floor pan looks like it will need replaced in the near future.

As with all of us with 'manches, it is tough to let her go, but as noticeable in pics, rear fender wells are starting to show some rust, and I can't afford to fix her, and hope someone who can, will.
