schardein Posted June 10, 2018 Share Posted June 10, 2018 Wasn't sure how to title this. As some of you may know, the factory tow hooks consist of the tow hooks and three separate brackets per side. One of those brackets looks like the attached pic. These brackets bolt to the unibody, and have a welded nut that replaces those darn "clip-nuts" that always seem to crack in half and be a general pain when removing the front bumper. I was at the junkyard the other day and found an XJ with the factory tow hooks. I didn't have the big torx bit to the get the main brackets, but I got these. I think every XJ/MJ should have these instead of those clip nuts. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
