Please advise! The wiper arm assembly is sometimes called the transmission. New motors are still available. Why are you asking? Are your wipers flopping around and over the windshield side moldings? KANTANKRUS Posted May 17, 2018 Author Share Posted May 17, 2018 All I know is, the previous owner told me that it needed a new motor. I have yet to drive the truck (other than, the short drive when I went to go see it) after that, I went to pick it up, on a u haul and then park it, at a friends garage. This friend is doing the tranny/t-case swap for me, as I was on light duty from a workplace accident, so I am paying someone else to do the swap.
