ax-4 to ax-5 4x4 swap problems

When  swapping to the AX-5, i bought a clutch kit for the 2.5l and the concentric slave cylinder just hangs on there. I know there is a retaining clip, but when i put the clip on, it still just hangs there touching the top of the shaft. is it supposed to be this way, or should it be tight up against the back and not touching the shaft. i have a video here on my facebook: https://www.facebook.com/hunter.baney/videos/1402791649790626/

 

Any help is appreciated before i put the clutch set in and have it not work
