madog7200
I know there has been multiple write ups on both of these subjects... but is there any reason why my dash lights and my blower motor would stop working at the same time or is this just pure coincidence? 91 4.0 5 speed Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

I'm guessing it was a coincidence, changed the fuse and it blew again. Swapped that one out and now they are staying on... On to the blower motor... I pulled it and hooked it directly to the battery and it spins fine. Changed the resistor and it still doesn't work... Do the climate control head units go bad in these things often? I can hear the doors operating when switching from vent to defrost and all of that, but no fan? I saw no visible damage on the resistor plug and I have no fan on any variation of the climate control head unit Thanks in advance guys Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
Eagle
Unplug the fan connector under the hood and check for power at the connector. If you have power, the problem may be the ground. Remember that fan speed is controlled by a resistor pack, so you won't see 12 volts except with the control on the high speed setting.
madog7200
I don't have an ohm meter at home I'll have to check at work tomorrow... I tried using my circuit tester but couldn't get it to light up? Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
madog7200
I hooked the clip to the negative terminal of my battery and touched both prongs inside the plug neither of which made the light come on Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
Eagle
Was the ignition turned on and the fan switch set to the "Hi" position? If so, then you're not getting power to the fan. So the next step is to unplug the connector at the resistor pack and see if you're getting power to the input side of the resistors.
