DigitalBman Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 So on My swapped MJ, the cable that is installed for the E Brake is from a cherokee. Obviously it is to long. What cable fits and works correctly for the newer style E Brake from the cherokees located in the center console. Anybody know? Or can point me in the correct direction? In this picture you can see the loop of the E Brake Cable. (Plus all the extra wiring)
Warrior Spit Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 The e brake cable that I just installed in my MJ was the correct length and I did not have to make any modifications. The one thing that I noticed different with your set up is that I had to cut a small square hole in the floor in order to mount the e brake handle. In doing so, my cable goes out that hole I cut. There would have been no way for me to have run it through the hole the original brake did. Maybe this doesn't help, just my experience. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
