88 Comanche big ton

Recommended Posts

I've been looking for a new truck for a while and I've always really loved Comanches so I couldn't pass this one up for only $1800. The owner didn't seem to know a whole lot about the truck but he said that he had owned it about ten years and before that it was a California truck and it was actually a dually.

The truck is in rough shape at the moment but I'm going to do my best to get it back up to its former glory. I've already got tons of new parts for it. I'm going for about a 70/30 on/off road build.

The day I brought the truck home

You can see the holes in the bed sides where the dually fenders used to be. My neighbor has already offered to weld them up and straighten the bed up for me so it doesn't rust out. The previous owner had the actual pictures from before it was converted back, unfortunately I didn't get it from him.

The truck has after market bumpers front and rear. The front bumper is in great shape and I really dig it, but the rear bumper has seen better days. I've ordered a diy weld up kit from jcr I'm just waiting for it to come in.
