strictlyxjs
I tried searching...my 1986 2wd mj has the 1 piece brake rotor/bearing combo with the little cap on the end. right now i have the steel wheels with the large hole opening and no center caps. I have the opportunity to pick up these wheels: will these fit with those wierdo rotor bearing combo or do i need something with thr bigger opening. I already know the bolt pattern is the same. HOrnbrod
The crusty bearing cap will fit in the hole but will stick out a bit and look bad. Here's an easy fix I did: There's another way if you don't want change knuckles (I didn't). You can't buy the OEM caps anymore, and there are no low profile caps; they will all stick through the hole somewhat. One solution I found is to use Mr. Gasket Chrome Dust Caps. They are just a tiny bit small, but you can cut a strip of aluminum from a beer can and fold it shim it around the inner lip of the hub and they will tap in firmly and stay forever. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mrg-2485/overview/ They look better than the original dust caps sticking through.
