2.5 turbo?

I would be asking some questions about the turbo kit used.  Too big a turbo will lead to a very weak engine response.  Then what kind of ecm tuning has been done to match the turbo and the engine.  Has the engine any internal modifications?

Not that I know of.

"What makes this work is the computer and the Split Second fuel control unit... that lets the main computer see positive boost pressures and respond appropriately. Without that, when the vacuum gets to zero, the stock engine fuel control unit would shut down."

From the seller. Looks like the split second computer modifies the signal the ECM gets rather than a reprogram.

That looks like a huge turbo, big is not always better in some applications.  Most turbos have oilers on the bottom of the pistons for additional cooling. Not sure how a stock 2.5 can handle all that boost?  The last thing in the world I would want to do is invest $25k in a Cherokee and then sell if for $9500...  I have done a few builds where you loose some money, but no to that extent.
