madog7200
So idk if anyone has done a write up in how to do this or not, but I was sick and tired of my girlfriend shutting the passenger door and thus happening So I decided to try and figure out a way to stiffen up the little arms on the housing to hold the best pillar lights in place more snugly, and this is what I came up with. Pretty simple and awesome fix if you ask me....Basically all I did was take a plain and simple zip tie (not the 100 lb test) and slide a small piece in between the arms and the housing.I started by cutting a piece just wide enough to reach all the way across the housing without extending past the arms. Once I had that done i started by sliding the piece under one arm Proceeding to slide it more towards the middle and the other arm And then VERY CAREFULLY, and I mean very carefully prying the other arm up enough to slide the piece under These next step was sliding the piece down towards the bottom a little at a time so that I don't put too much pressure on the arms And finally seating the zip tie at the bottom of the arms and housing I then super glued each side of both arms so that the zip tie wouldn't come out due to road vibrations or door slams And thats it, very simple and VERY effective... they don't move at all......Let me know what yall think!! Thanks guys if you made it this far!!Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
