1992EliminatorSWB4x4
I see many members favor the Bosch 69302 fuel pump. The Carter P74155 fuel pump is about the same price. I have read about every fuel pump problem in these forums the last few days. My question is, since no exact Mopar replacement pump is manf. any more, are any other brand name pumps an easy install with no modifications, Bosch pump requires some modifications. ? Is the Carter pump easier to install than the Bosch pump? After I tap or knock off the ring , I will replace it with the Dorman 55810 ring and rubber gasket. This is my first fuel pump ever that I will be installing. I will change the fuel filter the same day also. Thanks.
