MJfan94 Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 My right rear taillight does not blink but illuminates when I turn my lights on. I've replaced the bulbs and checked the flasher relay and nothing has fixed the problem.
Eagle Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Bad ground. When you turn on the lights, the filament doesn't have a good ground so it seeks one by back-feeding through the other circuit. Either clean up the grounds for the taillights, or replace the socket.
Lee21490 Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Hey, Another CC member that lives 30 minutes south of me! Like eagle said, Check the grounds. Could also be a shorted wire.
MJfan94 Posted September 1, 2015 Author Posted September 1, 2015 I've put a new socket and that didn't work, what grounds should I be looking for because I've cleaned the ground behind the drivers side taillight, what other grounds do I need to clean?
MJfan94 Posted September 1, 2015 Author Posted September 1, 2015 I figured it out, the connector on the dr behind the rear axle was fun of mud and stuff.
