co-MAN-che
I have replaced and verified my speed sensor is in good shape and verified the wires that lead from the speed sensor to the computer are intact and functional, yet I have a persistent trouble code 15 reading. Am I missing something?
HOrnbrod
Did you clear your codes after replacing the sensor?
co-MAN-che
I cleared the codes today, rookie mistake to not think of that when I got the new sensor, but I have to wait for my transmission oil cooler line connector to get here before I can take it down the road and try it and see if it comes back or not. HOrnbrod
If you have fixed it, the 15 code would have cleared itself after a minimum of 50 keystroke cycles (IGN ON-OFF). But why wait?
co-MAN-che
finally got my tranny oil cooler line connector in the mail yesterday. Installed it, verified that the trouble code was not active and went on to start and run the truck thinking this resolved all my hardships. Wrong. My truck runs worse than ever. Idles all day, put it in gear and it stalls out. I can't win
