No headlights or dash lights after full HO swap

I'm finishing up my HO swap. I put in a full dash out of a 95 as well. Everything worked on the xj before swapping it over and now my running lights and brights come on but no low beams. My dash lights worked at first but not anymore and my low beams did come on at one point but not anymore. Any thoughts? I don't have my multimeter with me tonight unfortunately

make sure you got a good ground to the dash, that is where I would start at least.

checked that and it fine. ive been doing some reading about the weird things a headlamp switch can do. I might go buy one to have it, I never checked my fuses so I suppose I should do that. then ill start ohming lengths of wire if I don't find it by then

Did you ever find a resolve? Checked fuses, grounds but still no dash lights or lights on my 4x4 floor shifter

Had the same problem. Looked through my electric FSM and determined it was the headlight switch. Replaced the headlight switch and she was back to normal!
