Does any one know if the Chevy units had one? or just Jeep. official name intake manifold heater insulator. 10174801. If I can't find a good one no biggy. I'll just run without it.
Kerry Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 My dad had a S10 Chevy that had an electric heating element in the gasket,it was an 83 or 84.
jimoshel Posted March 10, 2015 Author Posted March 10, 2015 I just got the regular gasket the store sells, cut a groove in it for the wire. Removed the heater from the old gasket and riveted it to the new gasket. Sealed the groove with Permatex. Think it's gonna work.
