JeepsOLot
Nothing from the fuel pump, supposedly a new fuel pump and looks like a fresh-looking fuel filter. I have power at the relay, and 7.5 volts at the pump connector, where should I check next? Thanks! Jerry
jimoshel
There should be 12 volts at the pump. Check your grounds, especially the one on the firewall. Then the connectors, looking for crud, corrosion.
JeepsOLot
That's what I thought, wasn't sure how many volts the pump needed/should have. Thanks, slowly, but surely, I'm working through the wiring harnesses, cleaning the up with electrical cleaner. I got the C101 connector done, WOOHOO!! jimoshel
Try running +12 volts straight from the battery to the pump.Verify the pump is OK or not.
JeepsOLot
Just as an added note, I did #'s 1-5 so far with Cruiser's Tips, still nothing at the pump. Need to get some test leads to check that pump. I did pour a little gas down the TB, and did get a blip from the engine, but, still nothing coming out of the fuel rail bleed off valve. Something is either not telling the pump to come on, or the pump is bad. Checking again now to see if that 7.5 volts O registered earlier is at full 12 volts.
