Thiefcatcher Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Going from tan interior to grey and black...put in the grey dash from a 96 today..deleting bench going to buckets...center console...needing to sort out the wiring....it's a little messy...4.0 renix with 4x4... Have a 96 steering column I might add in but mine has tilt so I'm not sure about the wiring in that... Will post pictures soon...on my phone currently...

Thiefcatcher Posted February 22, 2015 Author Posted February 22, 2015 Thanks guys...it's a labor of love...yeah the 97 center console is nice...if it's a bolt in I may go hunt one down later on.... next up is adding disc brakes to the bacj axle once I get all my writing completed.
Crash Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Yes, late model XJ center console is plug n pray. May need to make small brackets to secure the back. I have one in my renix XJ. The late model one has a mount that goes from the floor to under the compartment, but I didn't use that, it fits good in between my seats.
