It is in good working order with all the gears shifting smoothly and quietly. I hate to just scrap this rarity but I know the only place to find a good home for it would be on here. jpnjim Posted December 18, 2014 Share Posted December 18, 2014 FWIW, 2wd BA10/5's are actually convertible to 4wd if anyone has the rear 4wd output housing to bolt in place of the 2wd tail housing. The output shaft on these is splined for the last 8-10" or so, so you just have to trim the output shaft to the correct length, bolt the output housing from a blown up 4x4 BA10/5 and bolt up the 21spline tcase that was fitted behind the old 4wd BA. I know they don't have the greatest reputation, but $150 to replace a blown up BA isn't the worst solution in the world. Good luck with the sale.
