glundblad Posted July 22, 2014 Share Posted July 22, 2014 I couldn't tell exactly what you were scraping on but they sprayed some undercoating stuff on the frame when new. They didn't do a very good job of applying it. I would say 40% coverage was the best they did. That is even a little optimistic. Personally, I thought they sprayed it simply to subdue the bright frame. I remember looking at new comanches and thinking how unusual it was that the frame was painted the same color as the body.
