89 Comanche Dies When I Turn On The Lights

The truck runs fine until you turn on the lights. None of the cluster lights or turn signals work ither. Its like the driver side dash is dead accepte for the indicator lights that cycle when starting.. The glove box light does work..any tips would be appreciated

Hmmmmmm...I will give it a shot

Well I found my issue..The ground on the rear of the engine had broken at the base...that fixed most of the issues,then I still had no lights... You hit the nail on the head ..it was the switch.This weekends work includes cleaning all connectors and regrounding the entire truck.
