jpnjim Posted November 25, 2013 Share Posted November 25, 2013 They aren't the best 4.0L transmissions... but, yes, they are VERY easy to convert from 2wd to 4wd if you have the 4 wd output housing from a broken BA The output shaft on 2wd versions is splined all the way to beyond the speedo drive. unbolt the 2wd tailshaft mock up a 4wd tailhousing to get the proper shaft length marked cut the shaft bolt on 4wd tailhousing =instant 4wd trans Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Just thought that it might be cost effective for me to pick another up if I could convert it to 4wd.
