jimoshel
A couple months ago The Beauty Queen, '87MJ, 2.5 4spd, 2wd started making a front end noise when turning. Was lighter sound than a 'clunk' but heavier than a 'click'. Crawled underneath and shook, twisted, pried etc, etc, everything but couldn't find anything loose or wrong. Kept getting worse. This morning decided to find and fix or else. When pushing up-down on the tracking bar it would move about a 1/8 of an inch, at the frame mounting bracket side. After trying for an hour or so trying to remove the nut holding the bar to the mount finally gave up and removed the mounting bracket from the frame. Found another bar in the junk,,er,,stock pile and installed it. Problem solved. Wish it had been as easy to do as it is to tell about it. I'm getting to olde for this sh*t. :D
dave92cherokee
At least it sounds like you came out of it without any further injuries.
