Shaving off weight is often a better way to gain acceleration than simply adding power. (An even better way would be to go out and buy a sports car instead - but to each his own...) . Still..diesel is always a kool factor...I still have my external slave ax15 just sitting around, if i can find a om617 that someone doesnt want my right arm and first born son for, it may get mated up and dropped into an mj too!
