ridenlow12 Posted April 10, 2007 Share Posted April 10, 2007 If I were going to use a donor xj for the engine, harness ,tranmission, xfer case, axles, Which would you guys suggest? I plan to just a xj put it all into my 87 mj. I would like a five speed but my wife can not for the life of her learn how to drive a clutch. I thought it to be a good reason to have a 5 speed but she doesnt give me any hassles about my projects so I compromised and told her it would be an auto so she could drive some. But I would try to find an 89+ w/ Aw-4 /231 combo... You can go HO at 93+ but IMO it's not worth it.
