kolton
I bought a donor jeep for my MJ project awhile back and planned to use the LPG kit. But now I have decided to go a different direction in the build. The kit was running and working properly when I pulled it from the vehicle. This is a dual fuel set up that was on an OBDII 97 jeep cherokee that was owned by the state. I've done some research and it can pretty much be used on a different number of vehicles, just depends on how you set it up. You do not need a carburetor. This kit splices into your injector wiring. Kit includes everything that was part of the kit. 22?gal tank Impco Model L Regulator Impco 200 Mixer Dual Curve Alternative Fuels, Chrysler 4.0 & 3.9l OBDII Processor All of the hoses and wiring for the kit. Including the switch in the dash and the locking fill port (will need new lock) Asking $700 for the entire kit including the tank. The tanks alone go for over a grand. I got a good deal on the jeep and don't need to get a ton of profit. So y'all get the savings. Kolton Loomis, 940-368-4472. Lewisville TX I'd prefer NOT to ship. But can on YOUR dime if you just absolutely have to do so.
mvusse
Tanks for compressed natural gas are over $1k because they have the be able to withstand 4500 psi. LPG (and propane, which 90+% of lpg is) tanks are much less. A 108l lpg tank should be ~$500 new if you look hard enough. Most people that use LPG off road use 30# forklift tanks that cost ~$100, although that 30# tank won't get you very far on a road trip. Might be useful for a fleet operator, or someone who has cheap access to lpg.
kolton
All depends on your location. A lot of people down here use them for harvesters and on their farms. So prices are higher. It hard to find the larger tanks, much less ones that will pass and are already DOT approved. If someone has a problem with a price, just message me. It says OBO for a reason.
