Back40MJ
i'm selling a 1987 Jeep Comanche, 4.0L with 5 speed, 4 wheel drive. Its a long bed with olive drab/ military paint job. Motor was swapped for a 1990 Jeep Cherokee motor with 80k on it. Needs a new windshield and exhaust touched up. Other than that its 99% rust free. the passenger side rear wheel well has dime side rust hole and the driver side is beginning to bubble. The driver side floor pan has been replaced as well. Very cool strong running truck. i would like to get $1500 for it. Its for sale in Winchester Virginia 5409312039 i can text or email pictures. looks exactly like the Comanche Club logo truck. GirsMJ86
Multiple pics can go in one post. That being said, any interior, engine bay, underside pics? Is it part-time (Command-trac) or full-time (Selec-trac) 4WD? Stock transmission or was the Cherokee one swapped in as well? Very interested if it truly does run well without any shifting issues and the 4WD works perfectly.
Back40MJ
None of those kinds of pictures. i'll take some tonight and put them on here. it is Command Trac 4wd. Stock transmission is still in it.

Back40MJ
sorry about the picture collage trying to learn this forum thing. Here are some pictures of the Comanche. I want anyone who may have to drive a little distance to know what they are coming for, i'l explain the pics from left to right. 1)The driver side seat as you can see is torn up from the driver getting in and out, the passenger side door is missing the push knob to get in. 2) Passenger side rear fender is in very good shape, only a bubble to work out other than that it looks to be free of cancer. 3) The crack in the windshield, I know of a junkyard that has another Comanche and the windshield is in it and they said they would sell it for 50. 4) Front underside, they underside is in great shape, a little bit of surface rust but definitely nothing major. Dana 30 axle. 5) Driver side rear wheel well, little hole from rust, could easily be fixed and repair before it gets like the other 75% of Comanche's I've seen. lol. 6) Engine bay, nothing spectacular here, PO said that they changed the engine for a 97 and just swapped over the intake manifold, exhaust manifold, ect. seems to run strong. let me know if you guys would like to see anything else. GirsMJ86
Killing me to see this rig not getting any interest. I'd love to come get it but I really need my rig gone first or I just can't afford the trip. Wouldn't want to trade so you'd have a nice base for a trail rig would ya? :brows: j/k... or am I... Got someone who might be coming to look at the Holley fuel injection setup on the thing this weekend. If he buys it I'll start to part the thing out and hopefully be able to come grab this soon enough.
Back40MJ
What are we talking GirsMJ86? i'm thinking about cleaning up the whole collection, both comanches, the cj7, and the grand, and buy (its probably heresy to say this) a newer rubicon. GirsMJ86
Nah, I hear ya on that. Honestly the only new vehicle out there that I'd buy right now if I could would be a brand spanking new 4dr Rubicon. Then go take it and have it painted Detonator yellow while leaving the flares, handles, top, all that black. Can't believe they got rid of that color. >.<
Back40MJ
since you said Holley fuel injection setup...what would that be for? i've been looking to find a deal on a holley injection for my amc
GirsMJ86
It works on the 360. The guy who might be looking at it this weekend plans on sticking it on his '74 Camaro with the 350. http://comancheclub.com/topic/40282-holley-fuel-injection-edelbrock-28-stuff-oh/
