Sold! Er, Traded! Thanks, Commanche Club! Wtt(Trade Preferred) 88-90 Xj Full Cluster For 1986-87 2.5 L Full Cluster, Florida

Hi! I was planning to install an 88+ cluster in my 86 MJ, but I really like the look of the older one better. If you have a fully functioning cluster like the one in this picture that came from a 2.5L, I'd be interested in a trade or partial trade for my 88-90 cluster. It has the adjustable tach, currently set for the 2.5, but I can set it for you to a 6 or 8 cylinder configuration before I send it out. Here's what I have. I just disassembled it and cleaned it. All connections appear sound. Needles move nicely. I've got fresh bulbs on order, so it will have all new dash bulbs shortly. No cracks or hazing in the clear plastic. The photo shows a little smearing from where I had just wiped it down with a Clorox wipe, but I went back over it with Windex and it's crystal clear now. ETA: More pictures: No price because I'm only interested in getting rid of it if I can find a cluster like the picture below. Otherwise, I'll make mine work. I'd love to have the cluster your trying to get rid of, unfortunately, all I've got is a 91+ cluster. I go to pull-aparts regularly, I'll keep a look out for the one you want.

I appreciate it. Sadly, the '91 does me no good either.  :shake: I'm going to give it a few weeks and see if one turns up. If I find one and don't end up using the one I have, I'll let you know. Otherwise, if I can't find one, I'll just swap it and drive it with this one. Hopefully for both of us, an early cluster will turn up.  :crossfingers:

Looks like finding an early cluster is tougher than I thought! I'll give it another week to see if I can find one. If not, I'm putting this one in. Thanks for looking!
