420manche
So I am fairly new to the mj's and my only spot of rot is the drivers foot area. So I pulled out my carpet after looking around on the forum and sure enough you can see how it leaked over the years down around the fuse panel. So what's my next step..... And how do I clean the residual gunk that has consumed the fuse block. I would like to get this all fixed before I reach the floor pan. Any help is appreciated
Blue88Comanche
Replace the master clutch cyl. When you replace it use dot 5 brake fluid, it will not eat up the fuses if it leaks. Make sure you get all the dot 3 out of the system. If the fuse box is in good shape replace all the fuses and clean it out with terminal cleaner. If the box is too far gone then replace it. Blue88Comanche
To replace the master clutch cyl is easy. Disconnect the clutch line, disconnect the petal, remove the 2 bolts holding the clutch cyl to the fire wall. After it is on bleed the system

Blue88Comanche
the front clip, fenders, and doors should not take long, maybe a day or 2 at the most.. The interior i can't say as i have not messed with my interior much. here are a couple 97+ write ups http://comancheclub....97-swap-how-to/ http://comancheclub....rs-mirrors-ect/ Backdraft converted his mj and has everything in his build thread http://comancheclub....001-eliminator/
