Clutch Cylinder Leaking Into Cab

Recommended Posts

So I am fairly new to the mj's and my only spot of rot is the drivers foot area. So I pulled out my carpet after looking around on the forum and sure enough you can see how it leaked over the years down around the fuse panel. So what's my next step..... And how do I clean the residual gunk that has consumed the fuse block. I would like to get this all fixed before I reach the floor pan. Any help is appreciated

Replace the master clutch cyl. When you replace it use dot 5 brake fluid, it will not eat up the fuses if it leaks. Make sure you get all the dot 3 out of the system.

If the fuse box is in good shape replace all the fuses and clean it out with terminal cleaner. If the box is too far gone then replace it.

the front clip, fenders, and doors should not take long, maybe a day or 2 at the most.. The interior i can't say as i have not messed with my interior much.
