insaneclowns04
I am stumped on my clutch engagement. I have a 1986 2.5 5 speed and when i push the clutch pedel in to shift it in to gear, i have to push it all the way to the firewall. i have replaced the clutch master cyclinder and the slave cyclinder, and it still doing the samething. i have bleed it a ton and can't get it to change. i doesnt seem to me the the clutch it self is gone because don't usually when the clutch goes out it won't engage until you let out on the pedel all the way. Mine will engage as soon as i start let out the clutch. the only thing i can come up with is the pedel it shelf has to slop in it. gogmorgo
Can't speak for your truck, but usually where the clutch engages/disengages in the pedal travel is adjustable, at least somewhat. I've only got six months experience with Jeeps and mine's an auto, so can't help you there.
