I can get it to start if i give it a little gas and i have to keep my foot on the petal and keep giving it gas.. it runs smooth as long as i keep it running.. but the starter wants to randomly engage while the key's set to "run" i'm going to look at it a little bit more myself.

ok. i put a new starter and starter relay in it last night. does anyone know if the little black box on the ignition wire by the starter has anything to do with it?
