flint54 Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 There is some perforation behind my rear flares, where moisture has gotten trapped for 20+ years. It's not gross, but I want to have it corrected before painting. Is there anyone willing to take a sawzall and cut up a bed that doesn't have this condition? (some would shoot me for the suggestion, I know) My bed is otherwise perfect, with Line-eX, so I'm not inclined to swap beds.
flint54 Posted August 5, 2012 Author Posted August 5, 2012 Yes, I suppose they are, but aren't they a bit different?
sinkrun Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 They tell me on here that the top is the same its the overall height thats not the same. I am doing the same thing but still have not found a good donor here in the rust belt north. I will be sure to post up once I get one they do sell new ones but $200.00 is a bit much.
flint54 Posted August 10, 2012 Author Posted August 10, 2012 I guess that would be a backup option. I may have found a JY out in a very dry part of the country that is willing to cut them out of a bed for me.
