xeducatex Posted September 7, 2012 Author Share Posted September 7, 2012 Yes, in the long run it is worth it,Its a stronger axle alltogether, Stronger axle = less replacing parts = saving money :thumbsup: So if I find a complete d44 is it a simple bolt on swap or are modifications needed and if so what kind.....once again ill prolly stay with sua unless the d44 is already soa.....is it? MancheKid86 Posted September 8, 2012 Share Posted September 8, 2012 factory d44's come stock sua, you will most likely have to weld on the spring perches unless you find a mj specific d44 :thumbsup: the xj's rear has different mounting locations and different spots for the shocks, (you can use the bottom bracket your shocks mount to still as shown in the pics above i have mine welded into where the stock sua perches are) if you don't want to flog your build thread up with tech talk, and have questions ill answer to pms as well :cheers: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
