Any one no where I should start looking for the short I no the doors to make sure a wire there is not pinch but any where else. Could it be a bad switch on the driver’s side door? HOrnbrod
When does the fuse blow? When you open or close, and which window? The power window circuit require a 20A fuse, make sure the correct fuse is in there. The switches can go bad, but rarely. Most likely your regulator motor is overloading because the window glass is binding in the window channels. Pull your door panels, disconnect the window from the regulator, and manually raise the windows up and down to check for binding. Also the bolt which connects through glass to the regulator has a plastic insulating washer on each side. If these are worn out, the window will bind. You can get the washers at the dealer cheap.
