1989 2WD Jeep Comanche shell. No engine, transmission, pedals, gauges, drivers door, front clip, or under hood wiring harness. It does still have a factory black dash installed. This was an old project of mine that I never got around to finishing. It use to have a 4.7 stroker running megasquirt and a 97+ front clip but I got distracted by other projects and never got around to finishing it. I’ve striped most of the truck since I had no luck selling it whole and this is what’s left. I’ve actually loaded up the back with some metal and was ready to scrap it but I haven’t been able to bring myself to crush it.

The bed on the truck is in fair shape and comes with plastic bead liner. No rust above the wheels but it does have some small dents. Under the truck is pretty clean. Drivers floor did have a small rust hole 8 years ago but I cut it out, welded in a new patch, ground down the welds, and painted with POR 15 and undercoating. Cab has some dents but rust wise it was the most solid truck I could find at the time. Rear axle is a D35

I figured someone here might want the truck for the bed then scrap the rest to make their money back. Ideally it would be nice to see someone save the whole thing. I do have a clean title in my name if needed Here are a few pictures. Please note the front clip has been removed since these were taken.

Rebuilding it, I have a couple HO wiring harnesses and a couple XJ's for part donors.

I don't junk them unless there is absolutely no hope for them.

I have a complete 92 2wd 4.0 stick shortbed I don't want to give up on yet but

it's pretty rough. It still drives nice though so we won't turn it into a donor yet.

I just need to find out if I can flat tow it through Mass with a tow bar and lights.

Well I had already swapped a 1992 harness into the truck along with the AC box. The engine harness is cut at the firewall since I plan on using it to MegaSquirt my Datsun 280z. Fuel rail has already been modified from a stainless Cherokee line to fit the HO rail. It even included the plastic lines and will hook right up to the HO rail. This might make the swap a little easier. I can’t remember if I cut anything out of the dash harness.

Ignore the shoe polish in the transmission, it’s all I had handy to plug the speedometer gear hole.

Also since you plan on using the whole truck I’d like to point out that around the steering box was cracked when I got the truck. I actually removed a piece of unibody from the inner reinforcement, cut out a piece of Unibody from a Cherokee, and welded in it duplicating the factory spot welds. I trust the repair 100% but wanted to point it out so there are no surprises. It’s much better then the hack job metal plate that was on there when I got it.

Pic after it was fixed.

Hey how's it going. I was going to include the tail gate with the truck unless FrankTheDog does not want it. It's also starting to rust on the bottom on the back side.

As for parts I still have the 97+ front clip, 4.7 stroker, 2WD AX-15, 99+ intake, header, MSD coil, etc. I'll have to check what else I have left and come up with some prices.
