H8PVMT
word was the engine ran good but tranny was stuck in reverse....being a 2wd if the tranny was no good I'd rather convert to 4wd than dump money into a 2wd internal slave tranny went to peep the tranny issue and found the MC was leaking all over the fuse panel, bad MC? could cause the reverse issue most of the fuses came out in four or more pieces they were so corroded replaced all fuses and have a new MC and lines ready to go in BUT...... bleeder valve is rusted solid, so unless anyone has a way to bleed a line without it or way to hack together Carl is going 4wd on a positive note, with ether and 2 year old engine oil started up and ran perfect for about 20 seconds
H8PVMT
so what are the plans? I have a line on a mint 99 cherokee white in color, if all works out, get the front clip, doors and everything, paint the bed to match (after patching up) and get the 3m wood grain for it, billett rims with fat whitewall tires a 99 Grand Comanchioneer, unless that word is trademarked, I'll photoshop what it "could" look like when I get the chance

H8PVMT
I can get a 4wd ax15 for 200 complete, no point in replacing a 2wd tranny in New England
H8PVMT
Trying to take the cheap route I was going to pry the tranny out of reverse with a screwdriver through the reverse light hole but then came upon this issue so with no way to bleed the system out came the tranny loosened up the shifter seat and the back half of the case and it came loose, got the new clutch and slave in yesterday so hope to have it moving soon, just need to get the new fuel pump to fire up broke 6 different harbor freight tools in the process and each time my 15 year old craftsman tools did it with ease, hoooooray china
